Every great journey starts with a single step. For our founder, Chu Chin Hue, that journey began in the bustling streets of Kuala Lumpur. He spent 10 years as a dedicated motorcycle apprentice, mastering the intricate mechanics and technical skills required to keep a machine at its peak.
In 1985, armed with a decade of expertise and a vision for the future, he stepped out on his own to establish Chin Hue Motor.
The early days were about more than just repairs. We initially expanded into motorcycle sales with in-house "loan kedai" options. However, the challenges of the credit business proved difficult, with many outstanding loans hindering growth.
Recognizing the need for a more sustainable path, Mr. Chu made a strategic pivot. He transitioned the business model to Parts & Tyre Distribution, focusing on a "Cash & Carry" approach. While this required significant capital to build a massive inventory, the shift allowed us to focus on what we do best: providing high-quality parts with efficiency and transparency.
